While in many aspects the Genshin Impact is compared by many as a close relative of another popular open-world RPG title The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, this game manages to distinguish itself by offering much more control over the playable characters, larger emphasis on cities and outposts, more advanced magic system where different elements can be mixed for more varied and powerful spells, and a larger roster of playable characters. The core objective of the main player (called the Traveler) is to find the lost sibling which got lost in the vast land of Teyvat, where seven kingdoms are all under the influence of their corresponding elemental power and the ruling god.
Instead of controlling just a single character, the Genshin Impact game allows users to take control of four interchangeable characters in a party (out of rosters of 24 powerful heroes), enabling quick changes of heroes with a single button and taking advantage of their unique combat, skill or utility abilities. Set in an eye-catching fantasy environment of the world Teyvat, the players of this engaging action game are able to take advantage of a very intricate RPG progression, action battle, and upgrading systems to explore the seven kingdoms and embark on a large adventure.
